Experience
From @ZeeBirdI've had one female and one male both develop constipation/prolapsing (separately, on different dates) and this usually presents as clear/white, mucus-y stool, sometimes hairy or stringy. I've found that 1 or 2 Epsom salt baths and a day or two of fasting clears this right up. Other than that, they've been very active, interactive, hardy, and delightful fish to keep. I highly recommend. I'm currently housing mine with a Halfmoon Betta, and he doesn't seem to pay them any mind at all. I think in the two months I've had them together, he's briefly flared at a female twice, but he's never chased or nipped at them.
