Major trim
Did a major trim, especially have fern and all the grass runners that have taken over to try to give the more special plants lights and room to grow. Also made whole back wall the same stem plant

24 hours later, testing same glass of tap water: pH: 7.6 dGH: 20 dKH: 11

Testing tap water
Doing a ph, kh and gh test on tap water. First testing immediately out of the tap and then going to let water sit out for 24 hrs and test again tomorrow morning: pH: 7.4-7.6 High Range pH: 7.2-7.4 dGH: 19 dKH: 10

Added White Wizard Snail
Added 1 White Wizard Snail (Filopaludina martensi) to the tank. Species not yet in the Shoal & Stem database — added this note as a temporary record.

New plants
Added frogbit, flame sword, 2 lotus bulbs and 2 buce plants. I think disturbing the substrate caused the ammonia spike
