We got 5 new yoyo loaches and the lone loach was moved into the 20g with the new ones to begin quarantine and give the bettas some relief

Loach nipping at Violet’s fins

Last night we witnessed the loach nipping at Violet’s fins. It was actively pursuing her. We used the aquarium tweezers to gently block him from her until he swam away. We then purchased the 20g long. Our plan is to set the 20g long up as a quarantin

Still no sign of any ich on their fins. Violet seems to be moving around more and possibly has a little more fin growth. Tiger and the loach continue to look healthy

Once fish are recovered and things stabilize, we will begin the process of upgrading to a 20L and expanding the group of loaches

No visible ich spots on any of the three fish! Will continue the treatment for a total of 14 days to be safe. Water is also noticeably less cloudy. We also added some Indian almond leaves and other botanicals

The bettas are continuing to get along in the sorority style. They either spend time resting together or are swimming and doing their own thing. There has been no aggression seen during meal time and they even mingle with the yo-yo loaches occasional
