Water change
Weekly water change the tank is looking good. Ember tetras are a bit excited because of the water change. They’re schooling tightly.

Water changed and some new plants
Added some new plants today. The scape still looks sparse because the plants are still growing in. Can’t wait until this becomes a lush forest scene!

Corydoras are doing well.
Water parameters are good and the Julii corydoras are doing well. I lost a salt and pepper Cory but I think that’s just a bad batch from the store. All those seem to have died. Nothing wrong with the parameters or the other fish.

New scape
New scape on this tank. I wanted to highlight the driftwood that looks like an ancient tree. I used the filter and substrates from another tank. I added root tabs for the plants. The tank should cycle quickly. I added one salt and pepper Cory from an…
