Water top off

I am still amazed by how well this tank is doing. It is tiny and only has a couple shrimp, it is thriving and I hardly do any week maintenance besides cleaning glass and topping off water. Also emersed UG looks amazing!

Big clean up

Key moment
There were patches of blue green algae on this tank. I did a big water change and manually removed a lot of it. After a week I don’t see it coming back, so I think I can say that I won the battle against it.

there is this accepted wisdom within the aquascaping community that small tanks are harder to keep. I dont think this is true, and our insistence on larger is better leads us to overlook the amazing things we can do with smaller tanks. not everyone h

small, heavily planted scapes are underrated. a couple of shrimp and lots of plants can do a lot for a nano tank!
