Sunday suprise
The emerald cories are doing great in the tank and there was a suprise when I looked at the tank. Looks like there is still on panda Cory left alive!
Problem
All Panda Cories are gone
All my panda cories disappeared overnight. I don't see any corpses inside or outside the tank. My only guess is that they were eaten by the florida flag fish. I have noticed that all smaller cories added to the tank tend to disappear with them around…

The cold water tank was fun but it was limited in terms of what I can stock. Adding a heater today so I can add more fish.

Water changed and trimming
Love the rescape. It’s coming along nicely. My favorite part of this scape is the area with house plants growing on the driftwood. Can’t wait for the philodendron to grow in and snake around the tank.

first large tank

this tank was my first 17 gallon tank. this is my cold water tank. i do not have any heater in there so i choose species that can handle the cold better. my home never gets colder than 68 degrees even during the winter so it has worked out well.
