A fast, clinging creeper for ripariums/paludariums — roots in the tank water and spreads over hardscape, taking up nitrate as it goes. Low-to-bright indirect light; roots readily with foliage emersed.
Grown with its roots in the tank water and its leaves in the air — a living nitrate filter, not a submerged aquarium plant. Give it bright indirect light; no aquarium CO₂ or substrate needed.
Milky sap is a mild skin/mouth irritant — keep cut foliage away from plant-grazing fish; the submerged roots are fine.
