Corydoras Sterbai

Corydoras sterbai

Callichthyidae

📍 South America

Ask Finn

Corydoras Sterbai is one of the most popular cory species, distinguished by its white spots on a dark body (reversed pattern compared to most corys) and bright orange pectoral fins. Unlike many corydoras species it is fully comfortable at warmer temperatures up to 30 °C, making it compatible with discus and German blue ram tanks. A sociable bottom dweller best kept in groups of six or more.
