Deep red lily with arrow-shaped submerged leaves. Will send lily pads to the surface if not trimmed. Beautiful red accent plant from a bulb.

Common Diseases

Nutrient Deficiency

Symptoms

Yellowing leaves, stunted growth, pale coloration, loss of red pigmentation

Treatment

Increase fertilizer dosing, ensure adequate macronutrients (NPK) and micronutrients (iron, trace elements), consider adding CO2

Algae Overgrowth

Symptoms

Green or brown algae coating leaves, reduced light penetration, leaf deterioration

Treatment

Reduce lighting duration to 8-10 hours daily, increase water changes, add algae-eating fish or shrimp, improve water circulation

Leaf Rot

Symptoms

Blackening or melting of leaves, soft tissue breakdown, foul odor

Treatment

Remove affected leaves immediately, improve water circulation, reduce organic waste buildup, ensure adequate lighting and nutrients

Slow Growth

Symptoms

Minimal new leaf development, stunted bulb expansion, general lethargy

Treatment

Verify lighting is medium-high intensity, increase fertilizer frequency, check water parameters (pH 6.0-7.5), ensure temperature stability
