Treatment

Dose liquid fertilizer containing macronutrients and trace elements; consider root tabs; test and adjust water parameters

Symptoms

Green or brown algae coating leaves, reduced photosynthesis, plant decline

Treatment

Reduce lighting duration to 6-8 hours daily, increase water changes, add algae-eating fish or shrimp, improve water circulation
